Every good story has to start somewhere. Ours started with a peanut, a family story, and a crazy idea.

Spanky’s Boiled Peanuts was born from a love of Southern tradition and the memories of Wilbur, whose influence helped inspire the heart behind what we do today. We wanted to take that old-fashioned love of boiled peanuts and turn it into something of our own—something fun, flavorful, and worth coming back for.

And that's where The Nut Wagon came in.

What started as an idea quickly became a mission: build something people would recognize, remember, and feel good about being a part of. We wanted a place where we could experiment with flavors, bring people together, and serve up a cup of peanuts that was anything but ordinary.

So we built the Nut Wagon and started cooking.

Today, you'll find us at our home base at Bruster’s Ice Cream in Monroe, Georgia, serving our signature flavors alongside a rotating lineup of limited batches from the Spanky’s Flavor Vault. Every batch is made with the same goal we had from the beginning—make something we're proud to put our name on and give people a reason to come back for another cup.

The Nut Wagon isn't just where we sell peanuts.

It's where the Spanky’s story comes to life. 🥜🔥
